On 6 September 2023, the final DIGI-Paint conference took place at the Centres de Compétences in Luxembourg.
The event, organised by UNIEP and Centre de Competence and also broadcast live via Zoom to all those who registered, included contributions dedicated to the use of innovative teaching resources for the painting and decorating sector, supported by Ms Larisa Panait (DGEMPL) who spoke about the European Year of Skills.
The conference was opened by Mr Marc Ant, Director of the Centres de Compétences, welcoming all present, and Mr Helmut Schulz, President of UNIEP.
The digital tools created within the DIGI-Paint project were also presented during the morning, explaining their purpose and wishing that they could be used to improve digital distance learning in this sector.
The presentation on the European Year of Skills rounded off the morning’s presentation of the project with a keynote talk on green and digital transitions in the craft industry.
It was an interesting and productive morning for the training sector and the entire painting and decorating industry. The transferability of the project to other sectors is proof of the quality of the DIGI-Paint project, which has been highlighted by both the Erasmus+ Anefore National Agency and the DGEMPL.
